2020 Subaru Ascent Release Date

The release date for 2020 Subaru climbing on July 2019. Subaru introduced the climb as an All-New vehicle for the 2019 year model, and only published two changes for the 2020 climb. The engineers added the function of the power back gate key and the new rear seat reminder system at all trim levels.

The back seat reminder system is designed to help the driver prevent the entry of children and/or pets in the vehicle by reminding the driver to inspect the rear seat area before exiting the vehicle. While the system cannot physically feel the presence of a child or pet in the rear seat area, it will illuminate if one of the following conditions is met: The vehicle starts within 30 minutes after the rear side door is opened and close.

The rear side door is opened and closed when the vehicle is running and stationary; The vehicle is turned off and back in 30 minutes, and the rear side door remains closed. The system will warn the driver with audible sound after the vehicle is turned off and will display a warning message in combination meter display (CMD), reminding the driver to check the rear seat area.

Powered by an All-new 2.4-liter BOXER engine, climbing comes standard with a new version of the Subaru high-torque Lineartronic® CVT (continuous variable transmission) and the legendary all-wheel drive Symmetrix system.

With 153.5 cubic meters of passenger volume, plus ample cargo space, climbing provides space for each passenger and equipment. The rear door opens 75 degrees to improve access to the third line. Eight USB charging ports are available throughout the cab and the 120-Volt Power outlet is based at the rear of the central console allowing charging for multiple electronic devices. With 19 holders of standard cups and bottles, each passenger’s drink is safe and close at hand.

The automatic climate control of three standard zones ensures that all passengers stay comfortable, with large air vents for those three lines. The second line reading light is standard on all models with the third line light standard on Premium, Limited, and Touring. Ambient Lighting and Footwell are also available throughout the cabin.
