New 2022 Subaru Crosstrek Redesign

New 2022 Subaru Crosstrek Redesign – The new Crosstrek 2022 will probably have a voiceover’s 2.5-liter boxer – four to replace the current 2.0-liter engine that standards the equipment on the subcompact crossover.

2.5 L will be reported available at Trim level new sports and unlimited top models. The engine made 182 horsepower and 176 lb-ft torque in other Subaru models such as Outback and Forester, a useful uptick of 30 horsepower and a 31 lb-ft torque over the current Crosstrek’s 2.0-liter boxer-four.

We assume it will be available only with continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and all-wheel drive, as we don’t expect this top-level Crosstreks to offer manual six speeds like base and Premium Trim levels do.

This will undoubtedly increase Crosstrek’s acceleration time, which is not so fast. A CVT-equipped 2018 Crosstrek with a 2.0-liter engine went from zero to 60 mph in a lethargic second 9.1 in our tests and successfully passed a quarter-mile in 17.2 seconds at 84 mph.

We would love to have more power onboard When we get the Crosstrek updated in for testing, and we believe the owner will, too.

Larger, more powerful engines will be available in the new Trim Sport levels of Crosstrek. Buyers will also be able to order it on the limited Trim-topping range.

It does not offer specifics about the new engine, but it is possible to become a factory already available in models such as Forester, Legacy, and Outback. The engine produces 182 horsepower (136 kilowatts) and 176 pound-feet (239 Newton-meter) of torque.

2022 Subaru Crosstrek Horsepower

By comparison, the 2.0 liters currently available on Crosstrek made 152 HP (113 kW) and 145 lb-ft (197 nm), and Hybrid offered a total system output of 148 HP (110 kW).

This is not particularly obvious when Crosstrek with a 2.5-liter engine will be sold but looking for deliveries to start before the end of the year. More powerful machines will likely come at a higher price.
