2024 Subaru Impreza

After Subaru published a cryptic teaser showing the silhouette of the 2024 Subaru Impreza, the automaker returned with a more revealing shot.

Subaru added that the brand-new small hatchback would make its public premiere on November 17 as a part of the Los Angeles auto show in 2022.

Subaru’s teaser shows a closeup of Impreza’s 2024 nose. Connected triangles create a grid design. The opening line has a sharper shape than the current model.

According to the most recent teaser, which shows a portion of the front bumper, the next-generation Impreza will be a more road-focused version of the recently redesigned Subaru Crosstrek.

The headlights look identical to those in the Crosstrek, but the Impreza has a different grille and less plastic lining on the bumper. We also expect a lower ride altitude than the crossover for a more traditional hatchback look.

The silhouette appears from the current generation, yet the photograph doesn’t tell much.

A technological update looks pretty likely. For instance, the most recent Subaru Crosstrek is equipped with an 11.6-inch infotainment screen angled in portrait and has physical knobs and buttons for some features.

2024 Subaru Impreza Engine

The powertrain changes for the 2024 Impreza are still a mystery. It currently has a naturally aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder boxer engine that produces 152 horsepower (113 kilowatts) and 145 pound-feet (196 Newton-meters) torque.

A five-speed manual gearbox and CVT are the transmissions available. All-wheel drive is a standard feature.
