New 2021 Subaru Forester e-Boxer Hybrid – The biggest story of the Subaru camp in Geneva is the Viziv new adrenaline concept, but two more pedestrians revealed to have a higher impact on the production soon. 2021 Subaru Forester e-Boxer Engine
Both XV and Forester used the same e-Boxer powertrain. It combines horizontally against a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine assessed on 148 horsepower and 143 lb-ft torque and 16-horsepower electric motors that are integrated into the transmission. Energy is stored in a 118-volt lithium-ion Battery Pack that has a maximum output of 13.5 kW. The powertrain is paired with a surreal’s Lineartronic transmission and symmetrical AWD in both models.
Subaru quickly to demonstrate the advantages of a hybrid powertrain placement. Because the battery is located on the rear axle, the E-Boxer car not only has a lower center of gravity than the traditional ICE model, they also have a better weight distribution. Both characteristics should improve the handling and rising quality of both vehicles.
Subaru does not provide more details about fuel efficiency figures or prices but expects to have Forester and XV e-Boxers on the road in Europe by fall 2019. There hasn’t been any news of whether the e-Boxer powertrain could come to America, but it’s impossible to remember XV PHEV is already here.

Subaru from the Americas (SOA) is selling as many new generations of Foresters because they can get, so there is no need for them to bring the E-Boxer Forester hybrid to the US now. There are thousands of North American customers who will buy the New 2020 Forester e-Boxer and many have waited for more fuel-efficient SUV compact. But Subaru will stick with what it already works for the US market, so don’t expect it any time in the near. Subaru continues to grow in the US, they have a lack of technicians, and carrying E-Boxer with unique service requirements, will put even more strain on their service department.
2021 Subaru Forester e-Boxer Concept
Subaru and Toyota announced last week, they will form a joint partnership to develop new mid-size and large C-segment electric vehicle batteries (BEV). Subaru will produce this all-electric vehicle all-wheel-drive under their own brand and they will tap into the Toyota technology to bring new eco-performance models to their customers. Customers can expect Subaru to introduce a new all-wheel-drive, all-electric intermediate and passenger’s big SUV name board in the US market sometime at 2021-2022.
For the time being, Subaru only offers Crosstrek hybrid plug-ins that are being marketed in a limited number. You will not experience a crazy long line in the US for 2021 Subaru Forester because it does not come to the North American coast in the near future.
